ABOUT THE PROJECT
The RoBulUs project is designed to support and enhance citizens engagement in the decision-making processes. It is derived by the findings for modest citizens` involvement in decision-making processes in Bulgaria and Romania, even though public institutions provide people with channels for participation.
The Initiative includes an integrated set of research, design, development and dissemination activities.
The RoBulUs project aims to:
Raise awareness and drive interest in the utilisation of legal opportunities for participation in decision-making processes on the planning and implementation of the OPs among young people.
Develop pilot tools to support the engagement of young citizens in the design and future implementation of the RO-BG CBC Program in their communities and regions.
Expected results
A practical Outline of the Mechanisms through which the citizens can engage in the design and future implementation of the Operational programs at the regional and local level in Bulgaria and Romania.
A Mobile App for raising young people’s knowledge on the Cohesion Policy and the new priorities of the program for territorial cooperation between Bulgaria and Romania;
A guide for participating in the decision-making process at the regional and local level regarding the planning and future implementation of the RO-BG CBC Program 2021-2027.
Experimental workshops and a final conference.
